Jason started out painting from what he had come from, sports orientated subjects, using watercolors. Jason grew out of painting those subjects and found another childhood love, animals. Spending the next several years developing his style, he found the medium of acrylics, which has become his medium of choice. Jason’s style has evolved from his great ability to draw. His painting style relies on a detailed drawing in which some of the pencil marks from his drawings may still be seen. Jason lives with his wife, Kim and two children, Samson and Makayla. Jason also continues competing in sports, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and weightlifting. |
